Mambo Jambo

Crazy night yesterday at Zouk with my combat colleagues. hah haven been to mambo night for hmmmm more den three years? don't really remember.. It was damn fun getting high and dancing to the retro oldies. We had a great time mimicking those retro dance moves. I think i am improving already with my alcohol intake. I feel i can drink more now without getting drunk. Thanks to combat for training me up haha. We partied till four in the morning and by then..my legs are super tired..and i also lost my voice. Sports Day

It was an unplanned sports day today. one word..SHAG! Just nice Weijie and Ken are on leave so we decided to have an impromptu sports day. They came over and we played tennis first. ahhh...tennis...i just cannot get the hang of it. Its nice to see the professionals play on television, the pulsating rallies and beautiful cuts. I just cannot shake off my badminton background hah, so it was more of a pick the ball session..lols. After an hour plus of tennis, time for a run round the reservoir! Shu Hua joined us for the run. The weather was damn goood today. I love running at the reservoir. Running on the winding stone track surrounded with trees at the side. The limit-less sky hanging above decorated with beautiful clouds. The serenity of the waters by the side~ ahhhhh purrrrfect. Life is beautiful. After running we went for a swim at my place. I realise i have been swimming alot this year. hah by my standards. zzz i am so tired and full now. Had dinner at 85 and proceeded for durians - all the exercise have gone down the drain. lols!

$240 added! Finally finished the Gain City Road Show at expo..the most boring show i have ever done. Went for my job interview at SMRT HQ this morning. Fingers crossed (LEMME GET DA JOB!) Well..den i went for a haircut at 黑店 and started my shopping spree. Shopping is self fulfilling and sinful..for me. Another road show coming up! Next week at expo as well :)) Money, Money, Money~ Its a rich man's world~

Kobe! Kobe! Kobe!

Went for an afternoon swim with my little brother today. First time in 6 years since i stayed here! lols Stupid Soo Khee is going to watch the Liverfool match with his girlfriend..what a waste of money..and time. Anyways i went to Orchard Ion yesterday! The moment i stepped in i smell..the smell of a new shopping center. Its an "atas" shopping center for the elites only. The design and concept of the place is nice and refreshing. Especially the toilet..its super high class man! You have to push past three big heavy doors to get to the toilet. It is nicer then the airport or some hotel's toilets! lols, but for people like me is only suited to go there for window shopping and act rich. HAHA. Some pictures..






I was in town because of work. I am the security personnel for KOBE BRYANT. yea..security.. LOL I think he is more secured by himself. hahas..he is damn..tall, all of 1.98m. He was supposed to make an appearance in Wisma's Nike flagship store. One hour before he arrives, the whole place was flooded with his fans already..mostly Ah Tiongs. Filled with Ah Tiongs! Well i am supposed to escort him into the store from his car with 11 of my friends from SIM. The guys from SRC Sports. Its quite cool to see him, and i am pretty damn sure i am going to appear on lots of people's cameras cos i was right beside him blocking people. The flashes from the cameras are non stop. The crowd was quite tame cept for 1-2 Tiongs. They tried to jump in to grab Kobe...luckily our human barricade is quite thick and i saw him being pushed away via his face. HAHA. Its easy money at the end of the day..i didn't do much hahs.



I will be working in the Gain City roadshow tomorrow selling portable hard disk~ Singapore Expo Hall four! $$$$$ muahahaha time to go for a shopping spree after that! :))

Amazing Race!

Combat Skirmish held its third ever mahjong tournament yesterday. It was a huge success with a turnout of 12 people. hahas. I suffered the same fate of the last tourny..out in the first round :(. But we have a different champion this time. My beloved xsm! hah Its time for a new champion, no more free $$$ for Josh. We played through the night in the office and woke up damn early the next day for our Amazing Race. I was initially teamed up with Yiwen, Shu Xian, Ken and Daniel but due to some last minute dropouts. I was relocated to join Adi, Grace and Zi Xiang. We practically ran throughout the whole race. Poor xsm..having to tag along and run with us in slippers :( But my aim is to play hard and have fun. We achieved that and had alot of fun although we didn't finish 1st. We came in second..but i am sure its not because of our inability but due to the flaws in the race. Despite that we all still enjoyed the race in the end, after all, we are one big family and this is a tryout for the future races.




Thought i can just leave you behind..but it just came all back suddenly..zzz

Gosssip Boys

Went out with the gossip boys yesterday minus weiming and nigel(ps-er!). Watched Harry Potter the heavily anticipated movie which i waited for two years. End result? Kinda disappointed by the dull pace and omission of several important parts in the book. But still, i love the Harry Potter franchise, the magical world and the mystical creatures in Hogwarts never failed to entice and enchant me. The show brought several images from the lord of the rings to my mind. lols the scene where there are several Gollums, Dumbledore having an uncanny resemblance towards Gandalf the White. K i better stop in case i let out some spoilers hahs.

After movie was prawning session! Haven gone prawning for a long time...guess i lost touch in it as well....the whole night i only caught two prawns..zzz luckily i still have lots of prawns to eat cuz the rest caught alot. HAHA. But i feel its very cruel..to see the prawns struggle and die..and being cooked..alive...Kinda....turns the stomach. San zai, San zai.

So Down...

sigh...stupid ICT. Ever since ICT started its been bad luck bad luck bad luck.. my morale is damn low...zzz firstly, on the 2nd day i had a fever..secondly, i got posted to a branch which is full of politics and super high on individualism..Its a culture shock for me because the mortar platoon i was in had a high collectivism attitude..Its very saddening that i will be in this shithole for the next eight years. Being newly posted there, i don't really know whats my role in my appointment and i really hate it that i have to go outfield to do NOTHING. I rather be digging shellscrapes with my mortar platoon.. Being obstracized is a sad thing. Never knew this would happen to me..bad karma. Period.

The bad luck doesn't end there. Next up i played mahjong and experienced my first time losing all my chips :( The previous day i overslept and have to take cab to work.. then the biggest stunner came. I made a wrong decision to take bus to office. It was a 1.5 hours bus ride in a super slow and hot SBS bus, and when i reach there..the committee members are gone. Nobody informed me, even when i asked them for updates the previous day. fk. I hate being taken for granted. Worse is by people whom i treat as good friends. Soo Hann..can you stop being so naive? I used to believe in treating people with sincerity and giving with no intentions of getting any returns. Be so nice for what? Just to be taken advantage of and be taken for granted. As i learnt in army, this is a dog eat dog world. The force is weak in me, i am moving towards the dark side. Good friends a few can le..i am so lucky to have a few..friends who will lend me money unconditionally when in need. Friends who will still send me home in the middle of the night even when they are already at home. Friends who will come all the way to my home to fix my door.

I feel bad for showing my frustrations...hope this bad luck will be over soon. I'll head down to Si Ma Lu Guanyin temple this thursday! God bless me :)

Love Love Love

Watched 17 again at home yesterday. It was pretty funny and a lil touching as well. ahhhh~ how lovely it is when the lovers reunite in the end. Movies always paint a very beautiful picture about love. In movies, love can overcome all barriers and can happen in the most wondrous and perfect setting. All you need is love. How great it would be..to be in love - in a movie.

I used to watch alot of such movies...now i think its propaganda. What happens in the movies rarely happens in real life. Personally, I have not experienced anything remotely close to that. Most love stories are about people who fall in love with each other. But what about the rest of us? What about our stories, those of us who fall in love alone? This is a familiar scene for me for hmmm 1+5+1.5+0.5+0.5 = 8.5 years already lols. These years that I have been in love have been the darkest days of my life. All because I've been cursed by being in love with women who does not and will not love me back. I often wondered what the hell is wrong with me. Then it dawned upon me, my perspective have changed.

In the real world, love occurs only at the right timing - the feeling of loneliness at that point of time, blinding, what you really want. Thus, love is over-rated and undependable. Feelings can change easily with time. Change is the only constant thing in this world. Nobody will need anybody to survive unlike those scenarios depicted in the movies. Humans are selfish ultimately. I have friends..who can fall for this girl..only to change his mind in a flash after he got rejected and go for another girl. True love is like a ghost; everyone talks of it, but few have seen it. So please..love yourself, earn more money and enjoy life to the fullest. You're supposed to be the leading character in your own life, for God's sake! Learn to give but not take, cuz how will you ever appreciate it when you have never given? Why is it called 舍得? cuz you must learn to 施舍才会得到. Food for thought :)

FREEDOM

Finally!!!!!! i am out of the shit hole!!! Freaking in camp training for two weeks are finally over! So many things happened during the three days outfield lols. My section mates and myself are almost run over by a wild boar in the middle of the night. We were asleep then by the roadside(so ke lian) and my QM spotted this wild boar about the size of a mini hippo running towards us. He gan chiong and immediately took up his rifle (which would be useless cuz we din't have any ammo in any case lol) and some stones and began hurling at it. Luckily it stopped in its tracks and made a U-turn back into the bushes. Time during outfield passes super slowly..and i got back my foot rot :( I miss my mortar platoon...anyways, time to find job and play more mahjong! :))

Freaking ICT

Before i go for in camp training, i have always heard about how relaxing other peoples' in camp is. They can everyday book out and act like civilian. What about mine??? zzz seriously no difference from active times.... There are actually NSFs in the camp who look more like NS men den me! Basically everyday during the MAPEX..i do not get to sleep until 3-4am..Worse is i am not OPs trained..so basically i am there just to watch. I feel like i am downgraded to become a men instead of a commander. I miss mortar platoon :(

Next week will be the three days two nights battalion mission exercise... time to camo on and let the freaking mosquitoes attack me :( Can't wait for this shit to be over soon.. I WANNA MR!!! AHHHHHHH!!!!!!

Now my feeling is just like Bruce Lee man.... WA TA!!!

ICT Nightmare

:(( I am stuck in this dreaded Jurong Camp 2 and down with fever,cough and sorethroat since day 2. Already super sian to be in camp training..now even worse..down with stupid fever. My temperature is 37.8 and hopefully its not H1N1..My whole body is weak..and i feel my head is very heavy :(. Worse thing is i cannot rest in bunk..have to tag along with S3 to do MAPEX. zzz Please let me book out this sunday!!!! ahhhhhhhhhhh

Oh yah Man Utd have signed Valencia but lost Benzema to Real.. ZZZ sibei er xin!!! Hope he can take over Ronaldo sufficiently..now.. go for VILLA!

So glad to have you by my side through this tough times, can't wait to see you again. :)
